MATCHDAY RITUALS
The traditions we run through — every single match — that make Super Stars FC feel like home.
The Circle
Ten minutes before kickoff, the whole squad stands in a tight circle at the center of the pitch. No phones. No music. Just breath, eye contact, and the same words spoken by the captain: "We play for each other. We play for Omaha."
The Walk-Out
Players walk out slowly, one hand on the badge, the other pointing to the sky. It's a tribute to those who couldn't make it here — family back home, mentors, and the friends who first kicked a ball with us.
The Post-Match Handshake
Win, lose, or draw — every player shakes every opponent's hand. Then they walk to the fan wall together and applaud the supporters. Nobody leaves before this is done.
The Man of the Match Ritual
After each home match, the POTM keeps the match ball. It's signed by the squad and displayed in the clubhouse for a week before going home with them.
The Locker Room Playlist
Every player gets one song added to the pre-match playlist. From Afrobeats to reggaeton to Nebraska hip-hop — the locker room sounds like the city.
